Cristina Lara
Cristina completed her degree in business administration in Madrid (Spain) and joined CERN in 1995 as a member of the Procurement Service in charge of IT equipment and LHC purchases. Since April 2023 she has become the Head of the Procurement Service.

Charles Carayon

Charles holds an MSc in management from Grenoble Ecole de Management. Before joining CERN, he managed procurement activities in the cryogenic, space and radio‑navigation industries. He joined the procurement service in 2015 and now serves as Head of Section and Deputy Head of the Procurement Service.
Nordine Azizi
Section Lead for Supplies (IPT-PI-SU)
Nordine completed his master’s degree in Procurement in Annecy (France) in 2010. Following a role in procurement in the automotive industry, he joined CERN in 2011 as a Procurement Officer and has been serving as Head of Section since 2025.
Simon Guerri dall’Oro
Section Lead for Orders, Stores and BCO (IPT-PI-OS)
Simon holds an MSc in Supply Chain Engineering and Purchasing Management. After eight years as an industrial purchaser, he joined CERN’s Procurement Service in 2019. He was appointed Head of Section in 2024 and is Category Manager for Cables and Connectors and Mechanical Engineering.
Adam Horridge
Section Lead for Civil Engineering, FCC and Outreach (IPT-PI-CE)
Adam holds a BSc in Management, is a Chartered Procurement Professional and holds an LLM in International Construction Contracts. Before joining CERN in 2014, he managed procurement for major engineering construction projects in the glass, oil and gas industries. He now serves as Head of Section at CERN, focusing on Civil Engineering, FCC and Outreach with Member States.
